Lightroute is more than worth the effort

by Thea Figee

The lightcirkel of Tamar Frank at the Heksenbrug can best be seen when you are standing in front of the burnt down Ellebogenkerk at the Langegrachtenstraat. Underneath the bridge blue lightlines have been applied that form a a cikel in the water reflection with which the artist poetically refers to the cycle between life and death. If you look behind you at the Elleboogkerk, then you inmediately relate this to the drama of the burnt down Armando Museum. Where the small tower was originally meant to be lit out we now see a faint light on the facade.
